To make the release a success, the inviting contributors and maintainers to help define key building blocks of the S-CORE stack for software-defined vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contributions are currently sought in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GenAI:<\/strong> \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/eclipse-score\/score\/issues\/1767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">[Contribution Request] GenAI \u00b7 Issue #1767 \u00b7 eclipse-score\/score<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI Platform \/ Inference Engine: <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/eclipse-score\/score\/issues\/1768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">[Contribution Request] AI Platform \/ Inference Engine \u00b7 Issue #1768 \u00b7 eclipse-score\/score<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security &amp; Cryptography: <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/eclipse-score\/score\/issues\/2054\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">[Contribution Request] Security &amp; Cryptography \u00b7 Issue #2054 \u00b7 eclipse-score\/score<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The community is looking for implementation concepts, existing open source components, and new module proposals aligned with the S-CORE stack objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to contribute to Eclipse S-CORE v1.0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested contributors are invited to submit their proposals through the defined contribution process: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/eclipse-score\/score\/issues\/1571#issue-3289568769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">[Contribution Requests] Identify maintainer for the 1.0 (1st round &#8211; 4th &#8211; 6th Nov 2025) \u00b7 Issue #1571 \u00b7 eclipse-score\/score<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selected contributions will be presented and discussed at the upcoming Architecture Community Workshop in April, which will take place either in person or online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submission deadline: <strong>April 4, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop format decision: <strong>April 6, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an opportunity to actively contribute to and maintain a consistent, open software stack for software-defined vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, in late 2025, the Eclipse S-CORE community released Eclipse S-CORE <a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse-score.github.io\/score\/main\/score_releases\/score_releases\/score_v0_5_alpha.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">v0.5 alpha<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse-score.github.io\/score\/main\/score_releases\/score_releases\/score_v0_5_beta.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">v0.5 beta<\/a>, in February 2026, a third milestone, <a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse-score.github.io\/score\/main\/score_releases\/score_releases\/score_v0_6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">v0.6<\/a>, was achieved.
