Eclipse S-CORE has successfully completed the release gate for version 0.8, marking an important milestone on the path toward a safety-certifiable v1.0.

The Quality Management release introduces stronger project-wide expectations. Every module planned for v1.0 must now advance toward complete, reviewed requirements, documented architecture, and the necessary safety artefacts.

For safety-critical automotive systems, working code alone is not enough. Traceable requirements, rigorous reviews, documented decisions, and consistent evidence are essential. Eclipse S-CORE is building that foundation openly and collaboratively across successive releases.
