Sanimir Agovic presented Eclipse OpenSOVD, the open source implementation of the Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD) standard (ISO 17978). SOVD provides a modern, service-oriented model for accessing vehicle diagnostics. Sanimir demonstrated how OpenSOVD delivers a modular, standards-compliant software stack capable of supporting the diagnostic needs of software-defined vehicles. “Diagnostics must evolve with software-defined vehicles. Open source implementations provide the transparency and extensibility required for long-term adoption.
