The Eclipse S-CORE architecture community is making significant strides towards the upcoming first major release of the integration project. To make the release a success, the inviting contributors and maintainers to help define key building blocks of the S-CORE stack for software-defined vehicles.
Contributions are currently sought in the following areas:

The community is looking for implementation concepts, existing open source components, and new module proposals aligned with the S-CORE stack objectives.
How to contribute to Eclipse S-CORE v1.0

Selected contributions will be presented and discussed at the upcoming Architecture Community Workshop in April, which will take place either in person or online.

This is an opportunity to actively contribute to and maintain a consistent, open software stack for software-defined vehicles.
Previously, in late 2025, the Eclipse S-CORE community released Eclipse S-CORE v0.5 alpha and v0.5 beta, in February 2026, a third milestone, v0.6, was achieved. All release notes are available on the project’s GitHub page.
